Coach Eddie
A bit about you?
‘This is your life’ I was born on the 30/06/1989 in Aotearoa, New Zealand ‘The Land of the Long White Cloud’, with Samoan heritage loud and proud!! Married to my beautiful wife Melanie for 15 years, 6 kids, yeah I know, that is a tribe. I am a family man, I love my sports, especially when the West tigers are winning lol.
Why did you become a trainer?
Before becoming a trainer, I was a client at PEPT. I love helping people but needed to work on myself first, before I could help others. For me, my struggle was my weight, it was a life searching journey to make changes, to better myself.
I have been a Coach now, for over a year and I love every part of it, finally achieving my dream job. It's an awesome feeling, when you help someone, accomplish their goals, it's very rewarding.
Something unique / interesting about you?
I have worked many jobs, such as, a Personal Carer in an Aged Care Facility, warehouse picker, truck driver, furniture removalist and now a Coach at PEPT.
Things of interest and my talents: I am a great dancer and singer, involved in a church band in Sydney and played the drums, but one of my unique strengths is being great at sport, some would say gifted!!
Just to name a few: Professional gamer, table tennis, volleyball, golf, and Rugby League.
What do you love about PEPT?
It is my home away from home, with the gym with no mirrors, the most amazing community of clients, with the best of best Coaches, who I call my PEPT family. The biggest reason I love PEPT is because they gave me my spark back.
What advice would you give to someone who’s thinking about getting started?
It's your personal journey of life, be bold and proud, enjoy the challenge, and as the ROCK would say “ One day or Day One”.
