Coach Patrick
A bit about you?
Myself and my fiancé, who is Spanish, we moved to Australia in October ‘22 after living in Spain for 8 years. We have one daughter, Adana!!
I studied sports development and coaching at Uni in England, then moved to Spain at first to coach tennis but I then started a sports massage business and completing my PT qualification to accompany and branch out from what I was doing. The PT company I completed my certificate with took me on to be a tutor and assessor on the courses, which we would hold in Spain and Malta.
Why did you become a trainer?
I’ve always had a passion to helping someone improve (whether it’s physically, mentally or emotionally). Sport and Fitness has always been a big part of my life since a young age. Tennis was my main sport where I transitioned into coaching when I was 15. Then moving into sports massage and PT it really drove me to being able to help people break their habits, recover from injuries and just improve their lives for the better. Being a trainer gives huge job satisfaction when your clients reach every milestone.
Something unique / interesting about you?
Hablo español!! Hola ???? I spent 8 years living and working in Spain after leaving University in England. Love to travel and see new places. Also I want to tick off going to all the grand slam tennis events.
What do you love about PEPT?
To see the community that we have created is amazing. Everyone getting together, helping each other out and always being there to be supportive. Especially when anyone new comes in, they are always greeted with open arms to make them feel like they belong.
What advice would you give to someone who’s thinking about getting started?
There are lots of friendly people here that have gone through similar difficulties and can help you with your journey. Remember why you want to start and for who, find the best routine for you and seek support where you need it. We are awesome at what we do and will help you every step of the way.
